About This Project

My client wanted a video to help selling her book about the history of Corktown, Toronto. The idea was to create a mini documentary about the book with some hints to the actual stories found in the readings.

The ideation process lead to an atmosphere with a soothing cinematographic look. The special effects had to be subtle and coherent with the theme as well. Animating some of the images was one of the fun parts of the process. The rest of my involvement included art direction, editing sound and music, colour correction, and capturing all of the footage.
